When I plan brunch for friends and family, I love to serve an assortment of tasty foods that can be made ahead of time or are a snap to put together in the morning (as soon as I’ve had my first cup of coffee). Always on the menu are a cheesy egg casserole, bacon or sausage for the meat lovers in the group, crisp fruit with a variety of textures and colors (think kiwi, grapes, blueberries, strawberries…), freshly squeezed juices, and an assortment of breads. You were just dreaming about that??? Wait!

There is no better reason to climb from under that cozy comforter than the anticipation of a delectable brunch and a perfect glass of bubbly.  Your dream is a reality with this recipe for Easy Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread paired with glorious sips of Champagne Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé. Suddenly, the morning is your best!

To add to the delicious luxury of this post, one of my blogging colleagues, Sadie, the creative behind the incredibly popular SlapDashMom, sent me her recipe for the aforementioned Easy Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread. Not only was the bread effortless to put together, the aromas of cinnamon wafting throughout the house were mesmerizing. Follow the link here to see the recipe…thank you, Sadie!

Yet, what would brunch be without bubbles? Rather, what would brunch be without a bottle of pure magnificence, Champagne Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé (sent as a sample), one of the most recognized rosé champagnes in the world? The beautiful bottle of bubbly is a non-vintage wine from the highest quality Pinot Noir cultivated in a dozen crus (mostly grand crus) in the north and south areas in the Montagne de Reims.

This champagne was absolutely striking. Immediately after pouring, I noticed a persistent mousse and a rich pink tone. On the nose and palate, intense notes of strawberries, raspberries, and cherries delighted everyone at brunch – everyone agreed that this was the most delicious of the entire holiday season. The perfect amount of acidity complemented each dish and its satin-like finish was exquisite. If you’ve never tasted this champagne, you must.

To be fair, Champagne Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé ($99.99) has a place at the table at any occasion, not only brunch. Thanks to its palate profile, sips of this magnificent champagne pair with a variety of foods ranging from appetizers to desserts. The show stopping package and sophisticated bottle design, inspired by the times of French King Henry IV, make it an elegant, enchanting addition to any gathering.

A glass of Champagne Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé? You’ll remember each sip forever.

Cheers! ~ Cindy
